Are you trying to lose weight but you LOVE breads? We get it – bread is pretty much one of the most amazing foods in life right? Sadly, “light” bread can feel like you are eating air and just reminds you that you’re on a diet. You’ll love the delicious texture of this yogurt bread.

What Ingredients Do I Need To Make These?

Believe it or not, just three ingredients are required for these dessert bagels:

  • 1 cup of self-rising flour
  • 1 cup of non-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup of mini chocolate chips, regular or sugar-free

If you don’t have self-rising flour, you can make your own at home. Click here for instructions on making self-rising flour at home.

This dough is easy to make and fun to use in a variety of ways. This is a no-yeast recipe.

What are the Points for the Basic 2 Ingredient Dough and for the Chocolate Chip Bagel?

For the basic 2-ingredient dough recipe as we have it written, this dough is 3 WW points per serving onWW Program 2023.

How Should You Store 2 Ingredient Bagels and How Long Do They Last?

The raw dough can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours before baking. Place the ball of dough in a bowl sprayed with cooking spray so it will not stick when you remove it. Put the covered bowl in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it.

Did you know you can also freeze the raw dough? After preparing the dough, wrap the dough ball in plastic wrap, put it inside a zipper freezer bag, and freeze. When you are ready to use the raw dough, take it out of the freezer and remove it from any plastic packaging.

Then, place the dough in a bowl sprayed with cooking spray and cover it with plastic wrap or a tea towel to thaw in the refrigerator until soft (about 24 hours).

These bagels taste the best when they come right out of the oven and have a few minutes to cool. If you won’t eat them fresh, then enjoy them within a day or two of baking them.

You can freeze the baked bagels as well. Thaw on the countertop for a few hours or in the microwave for 30 seconds. I recommend toasting bagels to get that crusty, chewy texture.
