I have been making these ever since I was in the single digits! My mom was very health food oriented, and I had to be creative if I wanted “pizza”. Especially good with whole wheat pita, and I lightly spray with olive oil to make it a bit crisp around the edges. Really satisfying with spinach and a little side of hummus—a go-to snack that I still crave today :)

Truly one of my favorite fast dinners, naan as pizza crust. I keep a variety of sizes in freezer, for personal or family eating. Leftover chicken with feta and red onion with bbq sauce is a favorite. Can’t go wrong.

Made these as written for an easy weeknight dinner, served with a green salad. I used store-bought Naan. The only change I made was to brush the bread with olive oil and toast it in the oven for a few minutes before adding the topping and putting it back in the oven. This ensured crisp bread. I garnished them with a bit of sliced scallion which was yummy and added to the presentation. I think sliced basil would be good too! We will definitely make these again.

So easy and a great meat-free light dinner

This was so good and easy/quick. Used store bought pizza dough and make this into a pizza.

Very simple and fast recipe with high payoff. Use garlic naan if you can find it.

Made it as directed but it was too sweet and too heavy. Tried with cheeses not mixed but separately scattered and smaller amount of corn on top instead of mixing them. Salty pecorino mixed with Parmesan. A big hit for the party.

This may become my new go-to recipe for potlucks. This non-tomato topping is delightful and easy. I used a home-made pizza dough (made from 2 cups of flour) as the crust.

So, if I make a tortilla from scratch, as is my wont, should I just proceed with the recipe as is?

Made this for breakfast: toasted mini Naan, brushed with olive oil, added this very nice cheese mix minus the corn, topped with ripe tomato slices, sprinkle of za’tar, more olive oil, in the toaster oven until just right. Perfect savory breakfast.

In NYC 60 years ago we made these "pizzas" using Thomas' English Muffins. Pita or other flatbreads were unknown. quick and easy and fun for kids. Today, with availability of ready to bake pizza dough in every supermarket, there is a better alternative to using a previously baked bread. I keep "individual" portions ready to go.

Does this work with canned corn? Frozen is not available here and fresh will soon go out of season (plus it's 2€ for a couple of ears).

Something to think about for next season when fresh corn is available: blanche corn, shock in ice water, cut kernels off cobs, and freeze in vacuum sealed bags. Have fresh corn year round!
