Why is it so green here?

There’s a lot of areas that you can explore in Arcane Lineage and some of them can be pretty simple. Then there’s the Deeproot Canopy or Deeproot forest which can be quite confusing. Not only is it big and vertical but there’s not really a good map of it. There’s also green fog everywhere which just adds to the difficulty of navigating the place.
In this guide, we’ll show you all of the points of interests in this area like Class trainers, quests and more! Now get ready to see a lot of green in here as we jump into this forest!

Complete Deeproot Guide | Classes, Quest & More
The Deeproot Forest is quite confusing and big because of how the game doesn’t have a map nor a minimap to guide you. You might get lost or miss stuff along the way. So here are all the points of interest in the area.
Deeproot Forest Entrance
From the entrance, you’ll see a path that splits to the right and left. We’ll take the left one for now.
This will lead you to an NPC you can talk to so you can get a Teleport point here, as well as an NPC that summons a miniboss nearby. You can see them both on the image below.
Further in from the teleport point is a bunch of pillars where you’ll find an NPC that gives a quest.
Westwood Heart
Next to the teleport point is a large ramp that goes up, you’ll want to go up there to get to the area’s village.
At the end of the ramp is the lift to the Westwood Heart, the village of the area. Just jump in the middle of the green swirling thing and it’ll lift you up to the second floor.
This village are a bunch of houses build on the tree trunks of the trees here.
In front of the lift to the right before you go through the bridge is the Impaler Trainer.
Go forward from the lift and then go left to another bridge for the next point of interest.
On the ledge of that bridge is another quest giver you can talk to.
From that quest giver continue to the end of the bridge and go to the central building in that circle of houses. There you’ll find the Alchemist Trainer.
From the Alchemist Trainer, go outside of the building and head straight across the bridge past the guy on the ledge. Then go straight again past another bridge to another building inside a circle of houses shown below.
Go downstairs and talk to the NPC there if you want to learn about the Way of Life Convenant.
Super Class Trainers
These forests also has some Super Class trainers that you can find. Some of them are quite difficult to find though. This area is where you can find the Assassin, Necromancer and Berserker super classes so here is where to find them.
Assassin
From the entrance of Deeproot Canopy, we’ll follow the path to the right this time.
The path will be short and after the path ends stick to the right until you see a small entrance shown below.
Once you go through that go left and drop down from the ledge and continue going straight.
At the end is a camp fire with an NPC next to it. That’s the Assassin Trainer.
Berserker and Necromancer
From the Assassin trainer back track to the entrance of the area where the trainer was, where the path ends. This time instead of going right to the Assassin trainer you go left and until you see a strange looking F Symbol shown below.
Continue down that path and go to the left, this will lead you to a travel point where you’ll go inside a cave.
This is the Deeproot Depths and it’s a dark area filled with winding hallways and parkour puzzles. There’s videos and guides out there on how to get through the depths.
The depths is divided into a left and right path, the left path takes you to the Berserker Trainer.
Taking the right path will lead you to the Necromancer trainer.
Cess Grounds
The last area we’ll cover is the Cess Grounds, which can be accessed through the right path from the entrance of the Deeproot forest. Go past both the bend to the cave where the Necromancer/Berserker trainer and the Assassin trainer are and go straight.
Continue going straight till you find the area shown below where you see a white sign on the wall. Going further straight you’ll see a small house where there’s an NPC you’ll need to interact for a quest.
From the white symbol backtrack to the large tree trunk and go left. You’ll see a large arch that you’ll need to go through to get to the Cess Grounds.
This is the area where you’ll find the Darkwraith trainer. Be sure to check out our guide on the Darkwraith trainer for more details!
This is also where there’s a boss fight you can go to. From the area shown below, to the right is the Darkwraith Trainer and to the left is that path to the Boss.
Go straight and the left then right up a ramp then left and right again. You’ll see an NPC with a spear and some interactable stones shown below. This is where the boss fight of the area is.
