How do I find out the schedule of the final exams in northeastern? ›

Final exam schedules are available to students online via the Student Hub (https://me.northeastern.edu/) under "My Schedule" in the "Self-Service" tab approximately the fourth week of the term.

Exam. codes are as follows: A = By Arrangement. C = Class Hour. F = Math (common exam)

If a student has a conflict between two or more common hour examinations, then that student must take one common hour examination at the scheduled time and be offered as many additional alternate examinations as needed to take the other conflicting common hour examination(s).

High school final exam scores may be considered alongside other components of a student's transcript, but they are typically viewed within the broader context of the student's academic record.

These tests may feature several components, such as multiple-choice questions, short answer prompts, and/or essays. Most cumulative exams take around 2-3 hours to complete, depending on the school and course. College final exams evaluate a learner's ability to absorb information from an entire course.

Grades are reported to the university registrar at the end of each semester by the following symbols: Grade Definition Numerical Equivalent. A Outstanding 4.0. B+ Excellent 3.5. B Good 3.0.

The letter grade following the T represents the grade the instructor would assign if the outstanding work were to remain uncompleted, except for the TZ grade. The TZ grade should be assigned only when a student is unable to finish his or her work due to a verifiable emergency situation.

Please note that Rutgers does not give out "minus" grades (such as "A-" or "B-") except within the Law School. A grade of C or better is usually required for Major or Minor courses, while General Requirement courses must only be passed with a D or better.

The academic rigor really depends on your major. As a nursing major, freshman year is when they weed out those who are unsure about nursing with the hardest course like at Rutgers: Anatomy & Physiology. But after that, you can only go up. It's challenging!

Usually, the professor will tell you, “this exam covers the entire semester” or “this exam covers the entire year”. However, I must point out that final exams are for a semester or a quarter. An exam that covered an entire year would have to be for a year-long course.

How can I view my grades/transcript? Log in to CUNYfirst and click on HR/Campus Solutions. Click on Self Service and then on Student Center. In the Academics section from the Other Academic dropdown box, select Transcript: View Unofficial and then click the Go icon.
