We are in the midst of winter here in Australia. I crave soup after soup through cooler weather and low carb high fat soups make the perfect meal.

As I’m moving to Ireland at the end of the year, and straight into winter, I’m going to be “enjoying” plenty of cold days in the next year.

So, I have been on the look out for loads of low carb, keto friendly soups to keep me nourished. (And prevent me from making the same soup over and over and over again!)

You can make any of these best keto soups in a large pot on the stove top or in a slow cooker, following the directions for soup making on the model you have.

A great way to elevate the healthy fat content of any of the soups is to stir through heavy cream, coconut milk, cream cheese, sour cream or cheddar cheese when serving the low carb recipes.

You could also finish off the low-carb soup recipes by sprinkling over fresh herbs such as fresh basil or squeezing over a little bit of lemon juice or lime juice without worrying about too many added carbs.
